In accordance with the School Admissions Code 2014, the Greenshaw Learning Trust has consulted on the admissions arrangements for Wood Field Primary for entry in September 2022/23. 

The main changes are;

• The inclusion of a priority for exceptional social and medical applications for schools where it was not previously included
• A Supplementary Information Form (SIF) for all exceptional social and medical applications (all schools)
• Alignment in the order of priorities within admission arrangements
• Alignment in criteria definitions

Applications for Reception

Parents must submit their Common Application Form stating their preferred schools to the London Borough of Sutton. Applications open on the 1st September and close of 15th January. The application form can be found here: https://www.sutton.gov.uk/-/applying-to-start-primary-school-1 
If you are resident outside the London Borough of Sutton, you should apply through your own Local Authority.

In-Year Applications

Wood Field Primary School is part of the London Borough of Sutton's Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme for In-Year Admissions.  Applications for admission to Reception after 1^st September and for admission into Years 1 to 6 must be made to the Local Authority in which the school is situated on an In-Year Application Form.  If you wish to apply for a place at Wood Field Primary School, you must name the school as one of your preferences on the application form and return the form to the London Borough of Sutton.

Where there are more applicants than places available, the school will maintain a waiting list according to the oversubscription criteria detailed in the school’s admission arrangements without regard to the date the application was received or when a child’s name was added to the waiting list.

Positions on the waiting lists may go down as well as up.  This is because other children might be added to the waiting list who have a greater priority for a place against the school’s admission criteria; for example, when new families move into the area or when other families who had not previously named Wood Field as a preference, ask to go on the waiting list after the initial allocations date.
