Trips and Residentials
At Wood Field Primary School, we recognise the importance of off-site activities and educational visits as a means of enriching pupils’ experiences and enhancing their learning and development.
The children often refer back to school trips as the 'best days' in school and thoroughly enjoy the experience.
We plan a range of trips ranging from one-day visits using public transport, travelling by coach, overnight stays and longer residentials. These trips include farms, museums and castles.
In Year 3, the children take part in a one-night sleep-over at school.
In Year 4, the children are given the opportunity to go on a two-night residential at High Ashurt in Box Hill. This costs roughly £250.
In Year 6, the children are given the opportunity to go on a four-night residential at Grosvener Hall in Kent. This costs roughly £500.
